Understanding our sin nature is key to our salvation experience. If a person believes he is good enough to get into heaven, he won’t believe Christ had to die for his sins. If he does not believe he needs salvation, he won’t give his heart to Jesus. We must know we were born with the likeness of sinful Adam and we must desire the nature and character of Jesus Christ. |

An Opportune Time
Our human nature plays right into the hand of Satan. While he is the deceiver, we are weak in our flesh and vulnerable to his deception. Adam (and Eve) brought sin into the world when the devil tempted them with the fruit. And Satan is always looking for an opportune time to feed our sin-nature and bring destruction to the world. We must know our weakness in Adam and pursue the strength of Christ. |
