The Facets of Fact and Faith

What does faith look like? How is theory proven to be fact? Was the universe created or did it evolve? What is in the after-life? How do we know we are saved? These are scientific and philosophical questions tackled by great minds as well as great men of faith. And believers must understand the Christian world-view of these questions and ideas, then put their faith in God.

Firm in the Faith is On Guard

Discussions about the first two topics of 1 Corinthians 16:13 seem to interrelate. Practical life applications of these same Biblical principles also seem to interrelate. When one is on his guard, he is standing firm in his faith; and when one is firm in his faith, he is on his guard. Today’s devotion time with your young men will show this interrelation as well as illustrate the continuity of Biblical principles that will emerge during the ongoing devotion times you will have with them in the future.
